Aflas (TFE/P) rubber material is very versatile. It is made from a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) and propylene, providing superior chemical resistance, heat stability, and sealing performance in harsh environments. It can withstand various motor oils, engine coolants with rust inhibitors, extreme-pressure gear lubricants, transmission and power steering fluids, and all brake fluids, including DOT 3, mineral oil, and silicone oil. Beyond automotive applications, Aflas (TFE/P) is suitable for heat transfer media, amines, acids, bases, hot water, and steam.
