HNBR is a high-performance elastomer that offers outstanding resistance to oils, fuels, and a wide array of aggressive chemicals, coupled with exceptional durability in extreme conditions. By enhancing the mechanical strength and wear resistance of standard nitrile with superior high-temperature and chemical resistance, HNBR o-rings are specifically engineered for sealing applications that require superior performance in challenging environments. In addition, HNBR exhibits resistance to mineral oil-based hydraulic fluids, animal and vegetable fats, diesel fuel, ozone, sour gas, dilute acids, bases, and newer bio-oils. Well-suited for high dynamic loads, HNBR offers good abrasion resistance.
