Nitrile Rubber (NBR) compounds offer excellent resistance to petroleum-based oils, fuels, and greases, along with good performance in aliphatic and aromatic hydrocarbons. They are resistant to water, certain hydraulic fluids, and mild acids and alkalis. Nitrile also provides good abrasion and tear resistance, a low compression set, and reliable sealing performance over a wide temperature range.
